Die to Forgive

French legend Zinedine Zidane has no regrets over his infamous headbutt on Italy defender Marco Materazzi during the 2006 World Cup final.

Zidane was sent off as France lost to Italy on penalties in the last match of his otherwise glorious career.

He said: “Nothing changes, but I forgive everyone, not him though. Never, never… It would be a dishonour to myself. I would rather die.

Thank God that He forgives everyone who will come to Him.  

Jesus paid it all.

All to Him I owe.

Sin had left a crimson stain.

He washed it white as snow.

The Lord Jesus died that we may be forgiven. Amazing love! Amazing Grace!
