<description>Thanks brother. 2Cor 2:14-17 are great verses too. I&#039;m happy at least you&#039;ve got a reason now to be thankful whenever a repulsive smell of a durian confronts you. Keep reading. God bless.</description>

<description>I think it is better not to know the real significance or origin of a festive day !
It is traumatic for a person who follows the Lord to keep explaining. Well.....it is actually a pagan festival ...then we have christianized it and then now it is commercialized it and so on. Life has been a struggle for me with these man made rituals. How I wish we had nothing to do with these.

Best it to know the Lord and celebrate every day as we discover Him working in our lives. Rejoicing with believers and sharing with other.
Look forward to day when I am accepted as child of God for what He has done rather than the kind of rituals I do !
Then we will &quot;gather as a Church&quot; and not &quot;go to Church&quot; and all those one another commandments can be easily obeyed .

Sorry I might be out of context....But thought of Christian Festivals gets me bugged.

		<description>Nice Comparison !

Reading your devotional I am also reminded of the following verses from the scripture

&quot; But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life.
2 Corinthians 2:14-17 (New International Version)

I can&#039;t stand Durian. But now on whenever I get the smell of it I will be reminded of our King. Thanks to you !

<description>Yes rigth. No one innocent, all of us was bared the since from our great grandfater and since the man fall in to the sin but Jesus came to purify and accepted to sit with HIm in Heaven.
Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
