A Pastor's thanksgiving (Church in Singapore)

As your Pastor, I just want to thank God for you wonderful people here at GLCC. I’ve been told horror stories by many pastors in their churches. But for these 3 years, I’ve had so much joy serving you! You are indeed, a great Church in Singapore.

I thank God for your love for Him. It’s such a thrill to see that YOUR Christianity is not just a set of “do’s and don’ts”, but that it’s a loving relationship with God. You demonstrate zeal, joy and life out of that overflow of love.

I thank God for your teachability. It’s a joy ministering God’s word to you over these years. I see a hungry people who desire to know, and to do His will. Not just to keep men’s traditions, but to examine everything through scriptural lenses. Keep it up!

I thank God for your humility. I know it’s hard for you to follow a young pastor in myself. It really humbles me, but it also takes great humility from you! Thank you for your love these years.

Lastly, I thank God you are a praying people. Let’s continue to make GLCC a House of Prayer! Let’s be a glorious church in Singapore and in the regions beyond.
