I became curious. Why the light in this lamp post is not as bright as the rest? The sea was calm as oil. This segment of my recent Philippine trip to the islands of Cebu, Leyte and Bohol went smoothly. So, I slumped deep in my seat and my feet draped to have a relaxing nap, when all of the sudden the fastcraft began to shake violently. My wife, beside me, moved with fear held [...] The passengers were relatively quiet as the bus was cruising well along Dunearn Road. It went to a halt when a commotion happened near the exit door. Two men were exhanging harsh words at each other that awakened even passengers napping at their seats. I would encourage you to read a wonderful article by one of our young people in GLCC, found in HE HAD no reason to kill himself, said the tearful grandmother of a boy who plunged to his death with his friend, a self-professed medium. We praise God for the Missions efforts in GLCC. We rejoice in the Philippines Evangelistic campaigns, where tens of thousands of souls heard and received the Gospel. We rejoice in the Teaching Team preparing for Jogjakarta. We rejoice in Pastor Tupaz and family at the brink of serving in M’sia. I read about how some of Singapore’s new citizens are making an extra effort to better understand the local culture. |
